DSM Book Festival 2026
Join Elias at the Des Moines Book Festival in the Local Authors section. He will be selling and signing copies of Dreams Are For The Dead during a 90-minute appearance. The festival is a celebration of literature, community and local storytelling. Elias will be selling from 2:45pm to 4:00pm.
At 4:15pm, Elias will be joining a panel discussion, Memories and Memoirs, where you can hear him speak.

Join us for an evening of storytelling, reflection, and conversation as Elias shares selections from his memoir, Dreams Are For The Dead.
Following the reading, guests are invited to participate in an open Q&A conversation; an opportunity to engage directly with the author about the writing process, lived experience, and the deeper themes behind the work.
Books will be available for purchase, and the author will be signing copies after the program.
